Possibly just a trial over an expected busy Bank Holiday weekend, but the park hours for May are up and WDS is no longer listed as closing at it's later slot of 7.00pm, but on the 1st May open until 8.00pm and on the 2nd and 3rd open until 9.00pm.
Looks like the new attractions are really paying off for WDS. :thumbsup2

I hope this is a permanent thing. It may relieve some of the pressure from Crush and mean that people can ride without a 70 minute wait. :sad2: Fingers crossed then.

Ah damn i go home on the 1st May so wont get to use the late evening hours.

Hopefully a permanent thing :goodvibes Looks like the studios are picking up :thumbsup2

I hope this is a permanent thing too as I think the Studio Tram tour would be great when it starts to get darker, especially Catastrophe Canyon:thumbsup2

Rumour is that WDS may even have its own fireworks show this Summer too, test are planned for April 9th.

In the main park the fireworks are later so that it is dark. Wonder if this means that the Studios could be open till at least 10pm :)

This is all exciting stuff, we didn't do the Studios at all last year and have got so much to look forward to in there on our next visit:thumbsup2

This sounds really good :thumbsup2 - i love the studios its nice to see it getting abit of a lift.

Update on the fireworks, aparently the test are being done to see if the Studios would be able told hold a fireworks display on New Years Eve and not for summer nights.

That would make sense sinceit would be darker earlier :)

Longer hours at WDS? Excellent news - I love the Studios  .

yes it would be good, especially to relieve queues.

I arrive on 9th april - do you think the firework test will be visable to the public - even if just from village / lake?

If so does anyone know what time theyt are testing?

:thumbsup2 thats excellent news i've got to try and beat my record of how many times i can ride rock n' roller coaster over the course of my holiday and now that'll give me extra time for more rides hehe
