Hello people of the DIS!
My name is Shae and I live in the state of confusion (better known as Texas)
I suppose I should give myself a nicer intro than that, huh? Ok, well...I was born in Orlando where my dad was a graphic artist for both Disney and a company that did work with Universal. So basically I grew up going to the parks, as well as all of the backstage areas where the characters would walk around without their heads on (I still can't go anywhere near Mickey)
Unfortunately, we moved when I was five because my Dad landed a job at Nintendo. I don't remember much of WDW or any other park for that matter. There are only three things that have stuck for all of this time:
1.) It's a Small World. I couldn't get enough of it when I was younger, which I'm sure thrilled my parents
2.) A scene for the Snow White ride. I have no recollection of what was happening but there was a tornado-ish thing or some type of swirling darkness. Perhaps I'm just crazy (wouldn't be surprised
)
3.) Kali River Rapids. On our very last trip to the world we went to AK for the first time. At the end of the day, I made my dad ride KRR over and over again with me. Needless to say, we were soaked.
So anyway, jump forward a decade and my Mom surprises me with the best Sweet Sixteen gift ever - A vacation to the most magical place on earth! That blew my plan out of the water (Sitting on the couch, eating cupcakes while watching "Legally Blonde: The Musical" for the 20th time...Just incase you were wondering)
I, of course, did what every logical person would do: devour all of the information that I could, shirking off all responsibilities in the process. I mean really though, who needs clean towels? Anyway, I came across The DIS Unplugged (love it) which lead me here (love it too)
Soooo, yeah....
Outside of Disney, I love to collect dolls. I have blythes, pullips, dals, taeyangs, bratz, pinky:st, kewpie, and some random others. I guess I just love of all things cute. And glittery. You can never have enough rhinestones, right? Right?
But my biggest passions in life are acting, music and style. Real personal style, not the cookie cutter stuff
This post is getting way too long, so I'll wrap it up. Oh, that's another thing! I like to talk.
And I've seen the Mamma Mia movie four times. Just sayin'
