New OKW members w/ yet more questions

We just passed ROFR for OKW and are waiting to close

3 questions:

1. Can you purchase golf memberships at OKW? Any idea how much it is to play a round of golf? Any website that can give me more info?

2. When doing the world passport booking, you use your points (124 in our case) and the $95 charge. Is there anything else i'm missing? How hard are these to book?

3. We're looking at the possibility of staying at POFQ for our first three nights (our first years points have been mostly used already)... i know Disney will transport bags from one DVC to another, but what about from a general resort to OKW?

Ok... i know this was more than 3 questions, but it was 3 general ones with a few sub-catagories.

Thank you all for posting on these boards... it really gave us a good understanding of what we were purchasing.

Can't answer this one.

Disney will move your luggage between any of their resorts.

I'm not sure about memberships or cost, but there is no clubhouse at OKW. The course that runs through the resort is the Lake Buena Vista course which begins at Saratoga Springs.

No, you're not missing anything.

It can be very easy or very difficult. It all depends on your destination and how popular it is. Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean can be difficult. Ski resorts are harder to get in the winter months but are easier to get in the off-season. It really does vary.

Yup, you'll have no problem doing this. Another option is to grab a cab. It wouldn't cost more than a few dollars since the resorts are right next to each other.
