New Nighttime Plan of Attack in MK

We've always ended our days at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland. Having seen Wishes enough, we usually watch from behind the castle where it's less crowded. (Since new Fantasyland opened, the planter wall next to Dumbo became our favorite spot.)

But with Happily Ever After, it sounds like finding a spot in front of the castle is necessary. This changes our plan a bit and I think maybe it's a good time to change things up.

After HEA ends, where should we end our night? I've never spent time in Adventureland or Tomorrowland after dark. (I've walked through Tomorrowland to exit, but that's it). Would you recommend one or the other for that special nighttime ambience? I'm leaning toward Adventureland (since I've never done Jungle River Cruise at night), but it sounds like getting there through the crowds after HEA ends would be terrible.

Assuming you're going to be there on a night where HEA is before the park closes, my preference would be Adventureland first, then Tomorrowland if you have time. Jungle Cruise at night is really cool and just walking around there at night with fewer crowds is pretty special. If you don't want to be in the thick of it with crowds in front of the castle and you're ok with missing the projections on the castle, I'd recommend watching for just the fireworks in front of Gaston's Tavern. After the fireworks are finished you can scoot over to Adventureland through Fantasyland fairly easily because most people are on their way out of the park.
