Yes, the Wine and Dine was perceived by the competition to be a success. The 2011 Las Vegas RNR half and full are night races. They start at dusk and work into the evening.

Got the email about this and am intrigued!!!!!! The Strip at Night . . . how cool (event though, after Wine and Dine, I don't think I'm a huge fan of night races.)

Saw that - how cool would that be. I'd love it. Even though I've ran it the last 2 years, I still balk at the prices, $120 special price for 2 days only????

At least Disney picks me up at my door then drops me off afterward

I was just coming here to see if anyone posted anything about this. It starts much earlier than the W&D but it does give runners another night race.

Wow, a 4:30 time limit for the full? That would probably count me out if I weren't already running MCM and the Disney full. Sounds fun though.

Wow. I hadn't noticed that in the email they sent out. That's a pretty tight time limit, especially for a RnR event.

This one has me intrigued. I am already signed up for Providence 1/2 and St. Louis 1/2, so I think this one might be a must do.

I would imagine that is as per the city...I can't imagine Vegas is thrilled about the strip being shut down for the race at night

This does sound intriguing, at least for the half. Time limit aside (which as of now I don't think I would make), not sure how I feel about running 26.2 at night

This actually sounds like a night race I could do! Wine and Dine is just way too late for me! But $121--that's a lot for a half, especially since I'm doing RNR Philly in September and it was only $75! Once I figure in airfare, hotel, etc, that would be almost as expensive as a Disney Race!

Not sure about last year's cost but it was $90 for the 1/2 back in 2006 when Devine was in charge....pre RNR days.

I'm really looking forward to this race. I had already planned on doing it as the big finish to my 12 months of half marathons. A girls only weekend in Vegas-what could be better!!
