New Night Parade at DAK?

According to the Disney Hipsters, there very well may be a new night time parade coming to the Animal Kingdom. It will be on the water and feature projections on sails.

Hopefully its true as it seems fascinating

I think there may be some sort of an effort like this to keep guest in DAK later. I still see a WOC type show in the front on the park by and to be included with avatar land

I would think they'd need more night capable attractions before they create a night parade and extend the hours.

This would be amazing! I hope it happens. AK is such a great park at night - I was mad when they got rid of the PM EMH.

It was great until the final couple of years. Then it was just really good. I was wanting to suggest it in my previous post, but wasn't sure how people would feel about a hunting club in AK.

My favorite was when the bar tenders would "work a little magic".

We met Joe Rohde there one night when he was in the area working on Mount Everest. He told us the story of the ride like a little kid. It was really cool. I know a lot of people on here don't like him, but we spent most of the noight hanging out and talking about his Dis adventures. and no, we didn't buy his drinks.

I'm sorry for anyone who missed the adventurers club. It was the highlight of all of our evenings.

My source who knew about FLE and DAK expansion before they were announced gave me thi s info both star wars land and cars land will be announced at D23 with cars land breaking ground imidatly. Epcot expansion next year will be announced . There will be 4 major construction projects happening once. Think contators work being filled up. Clue!

I know two, let's call them animal industry people, who are subcontractors with Disney to this day and were on the opening team for AK. They have told me in no uncertain terms that crowd noise, fireworks, rides, etc. have no bearing from an animal care, concern standpoint. None. For further proof just look down the road at Busch Gardens.

This was a rumor that was probably floated by Disney (my opinion) and at the very least never addressed by Disney in the early days when they were not interested in expanding the hours at AK. Safety for the animals was the perfect antidote to preventing serious talk and discontent on the fan boards (again, my opinion).

Ok that makes sense but in order for this to happen in the area this is saying there would have to be a lot of construction surrounding the area for viewing and I don't think that will happen. I think the park could definitely be open much later like the rest of the park but at this time I don't know if there is enough night time activities that would keep all the guests occupied. Like the safari would be kind of boring because for one its dark out and hard to see animals and two the animals are sleeping. So I don't know it would be interesting to see if they would do something but I don't think it will happen.
