17. I Wish I Could Go Back to College

(Kate is on the observation deck of the Empire State Building)

KATE MONSTER
I wish I could go back to college.
Life was so simple back then.

(Nicky appears on a dark corner, shivering)

What would I give to go back and live
in a dorm with a meal plan again!

(Nicky and Kate sigh. Lights rise on Princeton, at the hospital,
sitting next to Lucy's bed)

I wish I could go back to college.

You sit in the quad
