New movie coming in Canada

in Epcot - it's about time!! Read about it in the all ears newsletter!! They finally listened to us and are going to update us!! Hope they get rid of the lumber jack uniforms too!

-- O Canada! in the Canada pavilion is going to be updated and the new movie will possibly debut in summer or early fall.

oh my gosh ... I was in the elevator this morning with a former co-worker who did her usual "so when are ya goin' back to Disney" ... I was telling her about my nephew who starts his year in the Canada pavillion in March, and her comment was "boy, they really need to update that movie ... it's pretty sad".

Thanks for sharing the info. My guess would be that it won't be done by my Aug 23rd trip.

And replace them with what? I think the lumberjack outfits are actually some of the better ones around all of World Showcase. Have you seen the 4" long neckties the German men have to wear? Yikes.

Or maybe I just convinced myself the lumberjack costume made me look ruggedly handsome years ago when I wore one, but I was just fooling myself.

Dianna ... you will absolutely LOVE VWL! We had such a wonderful time there in 2005. We are at POR from Aug 23rd to Sept 1st. And there's a good chance that my one DSIS and her oldest DD will be there too! I see mini-Canadian Dis-meet at the Dole Whip booth in MK !!!

Ahhh a dole whip - can't wait!!

We're heading down with my bro and sil and Disney is our 'stop' after our non-Disney cruise! We stayed at WL the first time we went and fell in love with it - told my 7yo yesterday that we were all booked and he was so excited - it's his fav place!! First time at the villa's though! Love being a DVC member!!

Exactly look at the costumes the Brits have to wear and the Germans and the Americans ours are great when compared to pretty much al the other countries in world showcase.
