Has anyone gotten a chance to ride the new mission space without the G-Force??? How is it? Are the lines longer for the new version or the older version???? Is it more relaxing in this version???

From the reports I've read from people who have gone on the less-intense version, it's a winner all the way, with no ill effects. Haven't personally gone on the revised version myself.

Mission Space was changed? It's less intense??? I tried to use the search function but it times out all the time. :(

What's the story?

How is it for the motion sickness? I tend to get motion sick on the simulator rides such as star wars. Does this one have the same kinds of motion sick issues? I would never ride the original Mission Space for that reason.

DH and I just rode the less intense version and didn't have any type of motion problems. He loves all kinds of rides except for those that turn like tea cups. So between that and all the hype, we chickened out and did the less intense version. However, our 2 DDs did the more intense version and didn't think it was a big deal at all. One daughter actually didn't even notice the spinning. They thought it was quite mild. DH and I wish we had done it. :sad2: The lines were definitely longer for the more intense version when we were there last week.

DH doesn't feel well after the Star Tours simulator so we have avoided this ride. Anyone ride the new version who also doesn't feel well after Star Tours?

I could never go on the old version of the ride, because I knew I'd get sick. This version was great. My DD went on both versions, and enjoyed both of them, but the hard core version won out with her.

As far as lines go, I couldn't tell you. I was using Tour Guide Mike and we didn't wait more then 10-15 minutes for anything. :cool1:

When we went last month, the line for the non-spinning version was twice as long as the original version. as for me, I like the original version best. :)

We rode at least 3 times and we were there June 13 thru the 20th. Lines for the no spinning version were very short, essentially a walk on, and this was in the late afternoon/evening. Even the line for the spinning version was only 15 to 20 minutes. It just didn't seem as popular as when it first opened.

I never did the spinning version so I cannot compare (too afraid, I do not like things that spin). This ride is very gentle, nothing like Star Tours. A few twists but far more gentle. It's mostly psychological and the effects of the film. I did not have any motion sickness.

DS17 liked the spinning version better.

We were at EPCOT today, and when we went to MS, (around 11), the standby line for the non-spinning was 5 minutes - the intense version was 60 minutes! We did both (on different days), and felt that the non-spinning was still a good ride - if I hadn't already ridden the spinning, I don't think that I would have missed the effects.
