New MF:SR story coming

During the Disney presentation at SXSW, Jon Favreau just announced that there will be a new story coming to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run that will feature Mando and Grogu. Both at DLR and WDW..

According to this Disney Parks Blog post this was already announced during D23, but they did announce the date which is May 22nd, 2026.

Okay, thanks. I don't follow all the future plans closely so this was new to me. Was it also known previously that Robert Downey Jr. is involved with the Avengers Campus expansion and other Marvel-related Imagineering projects?

The BDX droids were cute. I googled and I guess they aren't new, either. I found a story about them being at Disneyland last spring.
