New Menu at Mama Melroses?

We have a fantasmic dinner package in two weeks for
Mama Melrose's. I was looking at menus on Allears, and
this has a changed menu combining lunch and dinner.

My two favorites are gone! Is this accurate? Ouch!

We were there last week. I had a hard time choosing too. The desert menu really took a beating the Tiramisu is now a "drink" with a lady finger as a garnish. We will not be back. I was disappointed in DHS in general. Every trip we have a day there next time we may skip it.

No steak?!?!?!? Hmm I guess it will be either plain pasta or an appetizer for me when we eat there in Dec. Thank goodness we aren't on the dining plan or doing the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

I just noticed the same thing. I haven't been this bummed out since YSH got rid of the prime rib and horseradish potatoes.

I was just on the disney site booking dining reservations and there is a menu for Mama Melrose. It has both the steak and the vodak penne. We are going in December and want to order thoses, has anybody been there lately?

I remember this issue being brought up a few months ago. The consensus is that the allearsnet menu is incorrect. I did find this review from a trip that occurred less than 2 months ago and the steak was available then, post#71:

Additionally, the wdwinfo menu which was updated 09/10 still shows the steak.

I also still see that steak on the disneyworld menu.

Notice I am not giving my own opinion because I don't know for sure and I have it reserved for a Fantasmic Lunch Package in December.

I had the steak a few weeks ago. Not sure what is on the current menu listed, but I will take a look and see if anything looks out of place. I do know that the desserts were different as they got rid of the orange blood sauce for the cheesecake... That was my concern. (can you tell I am a dessert gal?)

This menu looks very very close to the one we got. The cheesecake is a different flavor and maybe a side dish here or there "may" have been different, but very, very close.

I am glad that the steak is still there. I am not the sort to get steak at every meal, but I am in love with Steak Gorgonzola in general and always get that when we dine at Mama Melrose. We have reservations for January kind of counting on my 'favorite' being on the menu.

Ugh. I passed on Mama Melrose yesterday because of the 'new' menu that was posted. I always get the steak there. I wasn't impressed with the menu I saw online.
So Allears is wrong?

Hard to say. They get their menus sent to them by other guests.
The online menu at the Disney site SHOULD be up to date and accurate(?)

Was there at the beginning of October, they had a steak dish (which I got) and it was ok, but it was not the gorgonzola steak and polenta, I asked about it, and was told the menu recently changed.

I'm sad the penne alla vodka isn't on the menu anymore. It was so good!
