Our long-awaited DVC membership cards arrived in the mail a couple of days ago. Hooray! But there's something strange about them. Although the accompanying info says to use the "telephone and fax numbers on the reverse side of the card" and "remember to sign the back of the card," the back of the card is blank! Like, totally white space, nothing there.
So is this a mistake, or did they just change the design of the member cards and not change the info that goes with it? I called MS yesterday and talked to Matthew; he didn't have a clue as he hadn't seen the new blue member cards. He checked around with everybody that was in the office at the time, including a supervisor who happened to be walking by, and he said no one knew what the back of the cards were supposed to look like.
So Matthew said he'd check into it with the appropriate department (who had closed for the day at that point) and get back to me. He did call back today, but he still didn't really have an answer. He said that they'd ordered new cards sent out, just to make sure, but that it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Boo hoo!
So, please, new members especially, check your blue member cards and let me know if I'm missing something or not. Good thing we don't have any trips planned in the near future; I'd hate to get to WDW only to find out that our member cards weren't valid or something!
