New Members in Cary!!!!

and Congratulations, Lance, to you and your family! We live in Chapel Hill and just joined recently as well! We will be taking our first trip the last week in January.

Lodgelady: The Triangle really is a fantastic place to live. There are so many different towns/cities with different characters that make it a really interesting place. Cary is different from Chapel Hill, which is different from Raleigh, which is different from Durham (and many other communities in the immediate area as well) All have their different appeals, and most of them are within a half hour (more or less) of each other. Let us know if you have any specific questions about the area.

Lance: I know you've said you would, but definitely try to make the gathering at Houlihan's, it should be fun!

Also from Cary. I wish I was going to be in town Aug. 6 but I will be traveling on business that week. My family is looking at the DVC and I have lots of questions. Just began investigating. What really hit home was our first Disney family vacation planned for next year is almost half the cost of DVC ownership. Buy now, and take this year's points and next year's too and we've paid for half of it already. Just gotta talk the wife into it. :)

How often do y'all get together at Houlihan's?

Lora you're too funny. I keep hoping I'll get a phone call but that hasn't happened yet. Let us know if you here anything.

Welcome Home Lance and family from another fellow Cary resident! There are several of us Cary DVCers! Please try to make the Houlihan's meet on Monday! :)

dive-in, this is our first Houlihan's meet. We are sorry you won't be able to make this one. Last June we met at the Remington Grill by Crabtree Mall. There's already been talk of having the next meet at the Olive Garden in Cary! :) Just keep checking these boards for future plans. Also, I might note here that this is not just a DVC meet, but a meet for anyone and everyone who loves Disney. :earsboy: The more the merrier!

Lodgelady, I agree with everything that JonHM said about the Triangle area! It's a wonderfully diverse area to live. There is something for everyone here from professional hockey to ballet to college sports to theater. Plus, we're only a ten-hour drive to WDW and our "Home Away From Home!" :)
