its about a 20 minute drive from where i live its in the area of south yorkshire i live up in west yorkshire

I live in the village and run the website thorpe-hesley.co.uk I'm hoping to get a discussion forum for the village up and running, so you may be able to contact people there who can give you much more information than myself. If you wish to email me using the administrators email found on the site, time permiting I can try and give you a little more information.

Also, I understand that the Disney film 'The Littlest Horse Thieves' may have had some location shooting done in the village, I'm looking for more information about that and if possible photographs.

We can all us a little every day!

Glad you could join us. I will be visiting London and Dublin for the first time in one month. My DS choir is going on a trip over spring break and will be singing in Westminister Abbey and St. Patrick's Cathedral. I am going as a chaperone, after all, I can't leave all the fun to him!

The things you'll learn here are phenomenial and eveyone has an opinion but we each re-live our own adventures each time we share them with someone else. So feel free to ask questions and look around the site.
