Planning a trip late Aug 06.
First holiday in many years with my autistic son (17).
Booked at CBR - this site was most helpful in planning our vacation.
First time on a plane too! I will be taking a doctor's note and hopefully will obtain GAP ( just in case). Sounds like a wonderful show at MGM but the 2 hour wait would be impossible.

Thank you again for the all the wonderful information.

You are going to love the CBR I've stayed there twice and have nothing but great things to say about it.

I think you will find that Disney will be very accommodating to you and your son. Have a great trip.

I hope you have a great time. We have the past three Decembers with my DD with autism and are planning our next trip for this December. It is her love for Disney and her happiness while there that keeps us coming back. It is truly a magical place for my family and I hope it is one for yours as well.

:welcome: to the Dis!!

You will love CBR! We spent 9 days there in May & had a wonderful time!!

We can't wait to go back!

Welcome to the DisBoards! This is a great website and is very helpful with Disney and life related stuff.

Don't forget to save time for Animal Kingdom! It may have not been there when you were last there. It really is a great park. Enjoy the planning and especially your special vacation.

WDW will take great care of all of you - and so will we.

Post often and let us know how things are going.

:welcome: to the dis. I think you'll love CBR, stayed there for a week in Aug. 2004 and had a blast! :)

Welcome to the DIS!!! You will get a lot of help from Disney.

It is nice to read so many people enjoyed CBR! I getting excited now.
Made our final reservation for a breakfast at BOMA. The CM was very helpful and assured me that any "plain" food my autistic DS17 wanted, the chefs would happily make.

Thanks again for all the info.

That will make you trip a little less stressful, be sure to take advantage of the help Disney is willing to give to make your trip the best it can be :thumbsup2
