New member - Leaving MK after Wishes

Thank you to everyone for your words of wisdom. It is good to know that I will not have to swim back to my car at the end of the day with two children in tow. You have all put my mind at rest.

No doubt I shall have thought of another question you can all help me on before long!

When we were there last year, getting back to the car at the TTC (by boat) after Wishes was the worst part of our otherwise wonderful trip. What we decided to do next time was to walk to the Contemporary Resort and take the monorail from there to the TTC. That way, you avoid the boat at all cost, and have a shorter wait for the monorail than if you tried to catch it at MK. Hope this helps!

Any idea how long it takes to walk to the Contempoary and is it OK to ride the monorail from there when you are not staying in a resort hotel?

It would take you about 15 -20 minutes to walk to the Comtemporary monorail station, depending on how tired you are and if you are with children. Yes, you can ride it from there if you are not staying at the hotel. You can ride the resort transportation if you have a park ticket, although I've never seen anyone ask for id to ride the monorail

I learned about the kiss good night from fellow disers and what a treat! My family loved it. The crowds left in the masses as we enjoyed the kiss. Then we leisurely strolled down Main Street and shopped and enjoyed ourselves. Have a great time!!

It's my understanding that having tickets to the parks give you a right to use all onsite transportation. In addition, I've nver seen anyone ask for id.
