New Member BLT. Question about HH

We recently purchased points for BLT. However we will probably end up using Hilton Head yearly as we live in NC. Looking through these threads it seems as if summer booking is a little difficult. Should we look into purchasing Hilton Head points and how many do you have to buy?

Currently, members can add-on as few as 25 points at Hilton Head Island if paying cash. If you want DVC financing you would have to add-on a minimum of 50.

How do I purchase so few points and are there going to be high closing costs?

You just call your guide and them him/her what you want. Currently, add-ons direct from Disney do not have closing costs. You could also look at the resale market to purchase additional points.

One thing about HHI to take into consideration. Closing costs have increased recently due to the fact that a lawyer has to be involved in the closing. This is only particular to South Carolina. Closing costs for a 50 pt. contract range from $500 to $800 dollars depending on the broker. Something to keep in mind should you ever need to sell.
