Sitting in McKim’s right now. We are not MMB peeps, and we arrived at the lounge around 1:30. Got on the wait list and waited about 20 minutes. It’s a nice space, tables are spaced nicely. I do wish there was somewhere to charge a phone. Seems odd to not have that capability.

We were a party of 3 and were sat at a small table, no chargers. The table next to us was for a larger party and it had 2-4 chargers that pop up out of the table

They are not at every seating area. Seemed pretty random as to which tables had them and didnt. I saw a CM hand out a charging cord for someone to use once too.

They are likely at tables that coincide with previously existing floor receptacles. Yes, they did quite a bit of interior remodeling and re-theming in the lounge, but saw-cutting the slab, running new conduit and new circuits, then restoring the slab (not to mention the additional time to pull permits, add inspections, and do the work) was probably a bridge too far budget and time-wise, especially for a handful of USB's (no matter how convenient they might be).

There’s the added issue of USB A vs. USB C charging ports. Which should be provided? We’ve moved off USB A as devices have been upgraded, but a lot of locations with charging ports installed (hotel rooms, cars, planes) are USB A. Having to carry multiple cables can be a hassle. We’ve purchased a portable power bank that we charge up and have available to recharge phones as needed in the parks. At home, my phone seldom drops below 50% over a full 24 hours, but connecting to the sporadic wifi in the WDW parks and resorts drains the battery much more quickly.
