We just bought a new mattress. We have been needing one for a couple of years. My husband has back problems and gets up with a backache sometimes. We have read that firm mattresses help with that so we thought we would give it a try. We have slept on it for two nights. He loves it. I hate it. Our last mattress wasn't firm, had a pillow topper and we also had a memory foam topper on top of that. I felt like I was getting into a cloud at night and I loved it. I want to get a memory foam to go on our new one but he says he doesn't want one. I swear, I feel like I am sleeping on plywood and this thing was expensive. Our bed is king size. I'm thinking that maybe I could get a twin size memory foam topper for just my side of the bed. Has anyone ever done that? Does it stay in place? I don't want to buy it and then it not work out. Any experiences on this? I know the one we had before fit into a sleeve like thing, with a zipper, that then fit over the mattress like a fitted sheet does. Can I get a twin size that doesn't have to be put on in that way?
