New map of AKV?

Does anyone have one? We are booked in June 09, and are trying to figure out what's what........

What sort of map are you looking for? If you want a resort map (the type they hand out when you check in) there is one here. It's Jambo House only because that is the only part of the resort that is open.

If you are looking for a map that shows the room locations within the building, there is a great map of Jambo House here. If you are staying in Kidani, I haven't seen any maps yet. TSMIII has been posting floor plans for the units that have been declared if you want some idea of what the room layouts look like.

Can you answer one more question? Are all the concierge rooms "savannah view" rooms?

No, only 3 of the 5- 2 bedroom lock offs are savanna view.

A 2BR lockoff can be booked as a 2BR or it can be "locked off" and booked as a 1BR and a studio. So DVC could make available one 2BR, four 1BRs and four studios or maybe two 2BRs, three 1BRs and three studios or whatever they need to do to cater for the booking patterns.

The Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor. The 6th floor at AKL/AKV is very small, it runs along both sides of the lobby but does not extend down any of the trails. If you look at that room map of the 5th floor of AKV, the Concierge rooms are above rooms 5202-5209 and 5401-5406. The first group of rooms overlooks the Sunset Savanna and the second group overlooks the pool. The configurations of 1BR and studios is not identical to what they did on the 5th floor but it's very close. On the 5th floor you have 5202 (a 1BR) and 5203 (a studio). On the 6th floor you have 6201 (a studio) and 6202 (a 1BR) and then everything else is the same

I just answered that: 6th floor of the AKL building (aka Jambo House).

If you meant Kidani Village, there won't be any Concierge rooms there. They are only in Jambo House and there are a total of five 2BR lockoffs.
