What are your opinioinns of the changes done to the Magic? Are they for the better or did you like the original Magic? Also, how is the new show that replaced Morty the Magnificent, which I thought was the worst of all the shows?

I loved the changes to the Magic. I though Diversions was a great place to hang out. You could go have a drink, play a game of backgammon, play trivia games held there or watch one of many football games being shown. I love the decor and Alex our favorite CM working there.

I thought the Cove was very nice. I don't drink specialty coffee but it was a great place to go to check the internet or escape the rain and read. Miguel was always there with a smile but very few people seemed to make use of the Cove.

The teen shack seems to be an improvement over the old teen club. My kids visited because they will be in that club next year and they seemed impressed. I thought it was very loud and I wasn't thrilled with the type of videos they were showing constantly.

We saw Darren Romeo instead of Morty and I loved the show. The first half of the show was slow because he was doing tricks in the audience and unless you were where he was you needed to look at the tv screens to see the trick. He won the audience over again when he started doing impressions (which I normally hate). He was extremely good. He has a beautiful singing voice and does interesting magic tricks at the same time. He's only on the ship for the next 6 weeks until Golden Mickey takes over.

I wish they would get rid of Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer and replace it with Darren or shows like his.

I agree - all of the changes were definitely for the better! I also enjoyed the Darren Romeo show, and thought the Morty thing was the most embarrassingly awful show afloat.

I've seen Golden Mickeys (on the Wonder) and it'll be a good addition. I'd like to see shows like Darren Romeo (non-Disney) stay, as I do get tired of the Disney-ish shows like Hercules & Disney Dreams. Mousketeer we don't bother with any more - that's outlived it's run, in my opinion. The movie premieres are ok, but not when it's a cartoon. Great for the kids, but not so great for the adults cruising. Oh well - it "forced" us to go relax in the Promenade Lounge for a couple of hours before dinner!

I agree. I didn't want to be too harsh but Morty was just plain awful. I really disliked it. does anyone know if they are going to make changes to the Wonder as well?

It was LOUD and they had "questionable" videos playing?!?!? Oh great.  I purposely chose DISNEY cruise line to take our DSs on because I thought the teen lounge wouldn't be full of "garbage" like I was afraid would be on other cruise lines' teen areas. My younger DS gets headaches from loud places....and neither are into the whole MTV scene (which I think is a GOOD thing).

Any other comments from teens who've been on the Magic recently????? Please tell me the teen lounge isn't like this ALL the time.

Sorry I didn't see the teen place but I can tell you that it we loved Diversions and Darren Romeo

Diversions was wonderful. We spent a large amount of our free time there. The chess tables were great, along with the sports programming. There was talk of adding more pub games like darts to the pub. British pub night was the best part :)

I actually liked Morty. The show I think needs replaced is Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer. If they insist on keeping it, take it to Studio Sea. I'm very much looking forward to the "Golden Mickeys".
