In order to make way for development of a new luxury resort, Disney's Eagle Pines Golf Course will have it's last day of operation on July 31, 2007.

Does anyone have any additional info on this relatively recent news post?
The location (Golf View Drive off Vista Blvd.) seems to be an ideal spot for such a luxury hotel.

This is the Four Seasons luxury project, not Disney's.:sad2:

I look forward to staying at the Four Seasons!

Well I would think that the four seasons does hotels (luxury wise anyway) better than even Disney, since there are a few 5 star Four Seasons and there are no Disney 5 star resorts. That being said, when this deal was announced, it seemed like Disney was doing this, to learn from four seasons (since they do luxury better), with that it makes me feel like this hotel will have all of the same access (Charging to room, transportation, etc) that Disney resorts have, probably even trumping what the Swan and Dolphin offer.

I agree. I doubt Four Seasons will spend the money to build a luxury resort with hotel and timesshares without having a clear agreement from Disney that Four Seasons guests will have all the amenities that WDW guests have.
