New look, new menu coming to DD Planet Hollywood.

We will be sad to see the change. We always have an amazing experience and great food there! :drinking1

Us too. My husband and oldest DS will be especially disappointed.

Anyone know when all of this will start? If the article mentioned it, I completely missed it.

Work is already underway. The moat surrounding the restaurant is completely gone.

I'm sorry... The food is not very good.

Not when you have pucks across the street.

Disney food quality has dropped significantly over the last 10 years or so...but still planet Hollywood doesn't look better. And be chain failed...some of that HAS to be an indictment of the food.
I'll admit though I haven't been in a long time.

We had a nice meal here in 2009 around midnight, after we made post-La Nouba reservations at Ragland Road and were totally ignored for 20 minutes after being seated. We walked out, and the closest thing open that late (that we saw) was PH, so we gave it a shot. The food was good and the service was amazingly prompt. I'd eat there again happily - only reason I haven't is that we rarely make it to DTD these days.

As an astronomer, I just hope that the stars on the inside of the dome (which they call a "planetarium", although I really doubt it will resemble a real planetarium) are placed in a meaningful arrangement (in other words, in patterns that actually match star patterns on the actual sky). I can think of no display of stars on Disney property where the stars are placed in any sort of pattern that is even remotely close to realistic. One glaring example that should have been done right but wasn't is the scene in Spaceship Earth where you are under the stars.

It's honestly about time. I've gone once and can't even say a refurb will get me back there.
