Hi,
I need help. The manufacturer suddenly changed the consistency of our regular cat litter.
Out of the blue.
We have two cats. And one of them refuses to use it. He is staying in an unfinished basement for his spots - thank goodness. He's not coming up to do it in our living area. But I have no idea how to fix this issue. I grew up with dogs so I have no clue. Nada. Plus, our other cat has never ever had any litter issues.
It's 100% not a health issue. Urinary etc. It happened the day we noticed the change in litter. And he's been this way since birth. We had to stop using any deodorizer for him. It's his way or the highway.

I know I have to try to permanently remove the urine smell so he doesn't go back there. I get that and we're trying.
But I need ideas of how to rectify for good. Do we try a new litter and put it where he's going to the washroom? Ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Lisa
