New lens...

The Ritz camera close to my house is closing so my wife and I stopped by just to see what kind of deals they had. All the signs said 30% but all the high end stuff was only 10% off. I saw a Sigma 28-80 F3.5-5.6 Mini Zoom Macro for $22.00 so I got it. I know they are normally only about $30.00 but I decided it was a good enough deal for me to get it. Although I read on the Pentax forums that they were going for $160.00 ????? who knows. I also just saw that on Amazon they have them for $110.00 on sale for $75.00????. It is within the spectrum of what I have but I thought it would be fun to play with the Macro. Nice little lens after toying with it for about 15 minutes and well worth the price to have in my inventory, Plus, one can never have to much glass.

Taking a 6 week Europe trip in a few weeks and vasilating about getting a wide angle (or Groucho's fisheye )for that say.."Sistine Chapel" shot....don't know if my 18-135 is good enough..then... there's the secure camera bag voice talkling to me...UGH !! This should be fun...right??
