I just finished posting a few new layouts! I am just so excited cus I am using my Canon i9100 for the first time and I love it!!!

I also did a few new things that I never have done before...

I printed a photo onto bazzill cardstock which gave it a very different look, kinda like it's on canvas...

I used several techniques I just learned about on Photoshop 8...vignette, easy read-eye removal, lighting techniques, feathering etc.

and for my fave...

Yesterday, I finally gave in and decided to dabble in heat embossing...and I LOVE IT!!!! I only have a few stamps and two colors of embossing powder so far, but I can guarantee that will change soon! It is such a cool technique and I LOVE the look!

It sure is nice being able to print my journaling right onto my 12 x 12 layout instead of printing it on 8x11 and then cutting it out!

Okay, enuff babbling, to see the layouts, click on cass world link below, then scrapbooking then 2003 album...

as usual you do not dissapoint..the pLO look great and you cats are so cute..rob is too.. it must be so nice to print on the 12x12 paper..when my printer goes I will have to get one of the big ones..the only thing is that I have 2 printers so if one goes well you know the story..take care and keep up the great work..oh by the way how did you make that branch by the cat it looks so real?..marianne:wave2:

bunnymkc,

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it tons!

Branch? could you be more specific?

As always Cass, Your layouts are fabulous!

Hot embossing is fun. Get a ZIG Embossing pen. They come in several points styles. You can use it to emboss your computer font titles, or even highlight parts of page elements. Just a little bit of embossing really sets things off.

Your new printer sounds like great fun too.

chessie,

Thanks for the tips! Yeah, I bought a pen when I picked up my other stuff. Haven't really played around with it yet but I am looking forward to it :)

the one with the tag that says dude around ii..it looks like a piece of wood that has been polished..Marianne

bunnymkc,

Ok, gotcha! It's just a sticker that I used, a border sticker to be more precise. I can't remember who made it cus I have had it since Oct 2000 when I used the other stickers that came with it on my Wilderness Lodge page :)

Once again, you do awesome work. Thanks for sharing.... So, have you started your disney & cruise layouts yet? No pressure, honest!!!! :teeth:

Tina

Tina,

LOL, no...but I am close! I promised myself that I would get myself up to date on my chronological album first and my next layout is for August 2003, so maybe 4-5 more layouts and I will be starting in on my wdw album then my cruise album! I am glad I waited cus I just picked up some stuff for heat embossing last week and I am looking forward to using this great new technique!

If I hurry up, my chronological album should be up to date by Tuesday and then I can start wdw!!! :)

Just got around to looking at these --- GREAT as usual. :teeth:
Hope you can get caught up so you can start WDW! I'll need to steal a few ideas. LOL
