Wondering if it occurs when borrowing a second time or modifying a reservation with borrowed points?

I've read that as a theory and seen some say that's what happened to them. Borrow once is fine but not more than that.

Last year when the borrowed points were being returned, I did try. I was allowed to borrow more than one.

But, not trying it again unless I need to do it for real. I may be borrowing again in the next month for a second rime so we shall see what happens.

Yep. That’s definitely what happens to me. I thought I’d escaped the dreaded curse of the dwarves, but trying to borrow past the first time proved this glitch is on both my resale contracts.

Yes. I tried it after the issues started being reported. I booked and borrowed for real. Then. I booked a second time with the same resale contract and it allowed me to book the night.

I then canceled and the points were returned to my account the following week.

So I had not issues with resale points and borrowing two separate times off the same contract.

I even gambled tonight and tried. No issues borrowing a second time. So my account seems fine.

The borrowing glitch seems to have something to do with the fact that the system can’t tell how many points have been borrowed on certain contracts. I have a 100 pt resale contract that I’ve borrowed 42 points from but it still says 50 points available to borrow on the reservation page and then it goes to dwarfs if you click continue. It works the first time you try to borrow and then never again. I had a 50 point contract with the same problem.

When I went to borrow last night the second time, it just gave me the option of how many I needed and since I was well under the 50% with that and my first booking. it went through.


I’ll have to see what it says now. I borrowed 8 the first time and 14 the second this week. My borrowing limit is 100..but I may have even borrowed 30 already a few months ago.

I have multiple contracts and two member numbers, all resale. I was able to borrow once from one of the contracts online. After that, all the contracts in both member numbers never allowed me to borrow without calling.
