New Lady Gaga video?

If you look at the songs on my phone (which is my iPod), I have very, very few songs that have ever been in the top 40. Lyrics to me make the song. My favorite song right now is Eminem - "Beautiful." That song actually means something. There are artist, like Lil Wayne, who could absolutely dominate the music industry with REAL music, but they don't live up to their true talent. Lady Gaga is just another one of them. And "Whatcha Say" is absolutely horrible because they took the "mmm whatcha say, mmm that only only meant well" part from another great song (Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap) and no one realizes it. Then they turned it into a top ten single that sucks flat-out. I'd rather listen to artist with songs with real meanings like Eminem, Tupac, John Cougar Mellencamp, ect. than crap like Wayne, Lady Gaga, and whoever wrote "Whatcha Say"

personally, i like songs that have meanings behind them that i can relate too but there are some songs i like just for getting me up and dancing, and lady gaga is good at that.

...but no one seems to realize it. I'm just saying not everything has to be srs bzns all the time, y'know?

lol yes exactly, even though I don't have it on my phone. The only Frostwire file I could find of it was of poor quality. I was rather disappointed the first time I heard them and I found the song Wendy. I totally expected it to be about Wendy's, but got a huge let-down.

Yeah, the quality pretty much sucks on every version of it out there. /:



But anyway, back on topic, there were only 3 things I didn't like about the video:

- Her Alexander McQueen 12 inch Claw heels. Those things give me nightmares Ugh, the first time I saw them on the runway I was cringing. In the video it's just too much.
- That creepy hairless cat.
- How her tattoos are all on the left side of her body. Probably just OCD but it bothers me.

I think the dance scenes were really cool, and I love her ridiculous outfits and hair and makeup. I don't, however, think its "high art" or w/e, I just think its fun to watch.

... although i was kind of creeped out by her twitching hand and huge eye balls in the part where she has pink hair and is in a bath tub.

Her songs are catchy.

But I hate how she runs around in weird clothing and has weird videos and just acts weird and calls herself some groundbreaking artist. It's ridiculous!

After hearing Poker Face (which I really liked a lot when it first came out) a trillion times on the radio, it got kind of old.

And does she say "Gaga" in every song she has or am I imagining things?

I didn't even watch the video. I saw a still of it and that was enough for me.

I'm indifferent to her. I applaud her efforts to dress in crazy ways. I think he music is alright, I like to sing and dance to it. I don't think she is anything special to be honest. I'd say she is comparable to any pop singer.

I know what you mean Sonya. Lady Gaga is dance music. Same with Britney and Katy Perry (who I like a lot more than Lady Gaga). It's fun music. I don't listen to it for the lyrics. I think life would be so depressing if all we had were lyrics that were so deep and emotional and meaningful. Songs can be fun too. Lady Gaga has seemed to go and try and portray herself as a serious artist (which I guess she is) but she tries and put herself out there as making meaningful music. I'm sorry, her album will not endure for years to come.
