New Jimmy Fallon Ride to Open in 2017

I agree. A short dark ride, walk through something other than a 3D/4D thing..they could have done something with the Universal Classic Monsters but Jimmy Fallon? nope and I rreeally don't like Soarin..

I have no issue with this ride being 3D/4D because of the major space limitations if they put a good dark-ride into Shrek. It is a much bigger space and could have a great dark ride.

Nintendo land is also a good opportunity to have more fusion rides that combine moving vehicles with screens and sets.

Mario Kart will likely be a physical ride in a real track with a heads up display in the vehicle to do augmented reality as part of the ride. Ala http://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-hololens/en-us but a larger scale inside the ride vehicle.

I like everything that I'm hearing about this attraction,I'm a fan of Soarin so a simulator showcasing NYC with Jimmy Fallon as the host/narrator sounds fun.Also the use of a Kuka arm is another positive.Twister had its day but I barely ever did it anymore,on my last visit I did it knowing its days were numbered,I always like when the whole floor drops at the end but on this last trip it didn't do it which was a downer as it was my last time seeing it.Another thing that Universal should do once this opens is bring over the homeless Osborne lights that got the boot at DHS due to construction,I mean NYC streets and Christmas lights,seems like a no brainer,how many Disney visitors will swing over knowing their favorite Christmas light show was resurrected at Universal?

Mystifying. This is a ride? We like Fallon, but come on.

I just said to DS and DH "they are replacing Twister with a JF ride" and DH asked if we'll all get to fall and nearly take our finger off.

Not sure that's the response Fallon would have wanted. Bizarre idea for a ride.

But I am, as far as I can tell, completely immune to the urge to go to NYC for any reason. Not even to see SNL, which I love. So I'm not sure I want to fly through it...

Jimmy Fallon just announced on his show that Race through New York with Jimmy Fallon will be opening in 2017 in Universal Orlando. He is very excited about it, will have the Roots in it too. He said it will be 4D/3D and some of the same ride technology as the Harry Potter rides.

I saw this yesterday as well and I think ity sounds like the most stupid attraction idea I have ever heard for any theme park, and yes that includes the horrible Avatarland at WDW's Animal Kingdom.

I really like Jimmy Fallon. Unfortunately, I get so darn sick on those 4D rides.. definitely need to get some Dramamine or whatever. The other down side is that my kids don't have a clue who this guy is and this will hold absolutely no appeal to them at all.
