We had a great time. I will post the few pictures that I have later, as Imagestation is down right now. We also had two great guys that attended and spoke to the group. One was John from the Central Jersey Disney Pin Traders Group who spoke about the group and how it got started. http://www.pinclubs.com/cjdpt/
Also attending was Lou Mongello the author of The Walt Disney World Trivia Book. Lou hosted a trivia game with great prizes for the winners. http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/
Fred did a great job on the entire event. There was lots of food, great prizes, great people and just a great time for all.

We had a wonderful time!!! Fred, aka "Majestic" did a fantastic job organizing the meet, and he put on quite a show. The Victorian Manor, where the meet was held, was perfect. We had our own room, with food, music, balloons, and tons of Disney prizes from pins to snow globes. Lou and John gave very informative, fun speeches, and the Disney trivia contest was lots of fun, run by Lou, of course, who's book just came out in print. It is called, "The Walt Disney World Trivia Book", Secrets, History & Fun Facts Behind the Magic. It can be purchased on Lou's website. I won a copy by winning one of the trivia contests! I met some really nice DISers, and was so glad DH and I went. Right now there is another NJ meet in the works, and we tentatively set up some DISmeets for December when alot of us will be in WDW. We also had "homework" assignments given to us by Fred. We played "who, what, or where I am in WDW", and our assignment was to come up with some riddles. That was so much fun, even the kids got into it!! I can't describe how much work Fred put into this. We had placemats that were maps of the WDW , park and resort music played in the background, the prizes were incredible; I also won a TinkerBelle picture frame, and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. The only thing I was sad about was that I had to leave early due to my nephew's birthday party. Can't wait for the next one though.
Wahhhh!! I'm so sorry that I missed it, but, on a lighter note, my furball, Morgana, came in 2nd place at her first dog show [up in Purchase, NY]. My DSis, Judie (aka AspiringCindy), Pixie218, and I will surely be at the next one....
Hi everyone! It's Lou (AKQJ10) and I just stumbled across this thread!
The meet was my first and SO much fun! It was nice to put faces to names and everyone was so pleasant. Fred did an outstanding job with organizing it, running games, giving out prozes, etc. Bravo. I posted some of my pictures in my photo galleries, which you can reach by visiting the link in the threader HERE, or in the galleries directly Photo Galleries
We're looking forward to the next meet, as well as MouseFest in December!! And thanks to all of you for your kind words - I really appreciate it!
