New IPOD TOUCH With 2 Camera's and Facetime being released officially today by APPLE

I know there are lot of message about the latest IPHONE in this forum.

But is anyone else excited about the new IPOD "TOUCH" that does Facetime via WIFI and VIDEO HD with a retina display?

I want one, and I don't want an overpriced ATT Mobile contract for an IPHONE.

Go to the apple site, there is some cool new gadgets, including a mini IPOD NANO touch screen.

Now if Disney would only get more WIFI signals throughout it's parks.

I am actually excited about the ipod touch with facetime, but I am even more excited about the new ipod nano, so I can put my podcasts on that, or even the new ipod shuffle, but it'll have to wait until I can afford to pay to get my Macbook back from GeekSquad and that'll cost me 423.23.

I love that the new Nano has a touch screen but I really wanted to get DS one with a video camera. I guess we have to decide whether to get the new Touch or look for a good deal on the 5th generation Nano

I agree Kevin. I ordered mine this morning, I figure I can just mount it behind the TV and use it for Netflix as well.

It is so interesting, if you asked someone 40 years ago what the future would be like they would have thought colonies on Mars, weekend trips to the Moon, cars that fly with anti-gravity.

Me too! We have the original AppleTV and really like it, but were really wishing for more streaming capabilities. Now we will have it. We have ordered 2.

I was hoping the new Touch would be 128 gigs. Then I could replace my old Touch and my classic. Oh well, I guess Apple saved me $300 by not releasing one....

I like the new Touch and Shuffle, but the Nano just looks weird. I think Apple sometimes tries to go above and beyond what is called for in a product update...

I love new technology so when I saw the new iPod touch my first reaction was that I must have it. I can't justify the purchase because the iPod touch I have now works fine. Plus we're saving for a WDW trip next year so I have to be good.
