OK iphone came to day
not bad one day more then i thaught to deliver
BUT once I got in activated I have no signal on it :scared1:
The Lady from o2 adviced me to send it back , that what ever thing I have to get from apple to make it work will take at least 5 weeks to get here :confused3
and still that might not work ,
so at the moment I am phoneless as the new one doesn't work and the old sim card has been shut down need to my nearest o2 shop to get a new one tomorrow morning
and to make matters worst dropped the old iphone yesterday and smashed the screen so it is been held together with sellotape at the moment and not too sure if it is still covered by the insurcene

so not sure what to do any advice would be great , to keep it and wait or send it back before the 7 day return runs out

Ok we are able to get the new i phone this friday here in Ireland
please tell me why I should upgrade to this one
I have the older vision iphone 3G ,
Thanks for any info

From the 3G it's a massive upgrade.
Quicker, slicker, hd video, better camera, just an all round better phone.
There has been mention of a few problems tho, but the only one I've really encountered is with the (awful) proximity sensor, hopefully that will be fixed via one of the upcoming iOS updates :)

:goodvibes

I agree with all of the above. Also I have had no problems at all with the signal, I thought I may use it less since I got my iPad but not at all, it's great

OK I have done it :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: didn't take to much to convince me
Thanks everyone :thumbsup2
ordered it this morning on line so now I have just to wait until after the weekend plus the bank holiday Monday :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

why could they have not launch it on a Monday morning instead :confused3:confused3
hopefully I'll have it about Wednesday if I'm lucky:wizard::wizard::wizard:

I hope you get it soon Jackie it will be worth the wait and I am sure you will notice a big difference. Apple have also launched an APP that allows you to order a free bumper/case.

Let us know when it arrives:)

Jackie I feel you pain :hug:

I would be tempted to send it back for a replacement.

Thankfully I've not had any issues with my iphone 4 but DW has had problems with her 3G. She has regretted not contacting Orange in the very beginning :)

Id send it back.
you dont want to wait 5 weeks and then still have the same problem.
Its so much easier to take stuff back as soon as theres a problem, rather than wait.
hope you manage to get something sorted out with your other phone too :wizard:

Good news :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
Nothing wrong with the phone silly lady on the phone from o2 never unlocked the sim
it seems to be working fine now
have 7 days to send it back if need be

Happy days :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Thanks everyone for all your help :hug::hug:
