New Information On Turnstile Credit Payer

I don't think VMK should make a turnstile that charges people and sell it in shops imagine going into an empty room only to find a tunrstile to be placed in front of you out of no where and you are now walking through it?

Maybe it asks if you want to pay and you can click yes or no. Then if you say no, then it doesn't let you go through and kicks you to the room entrance area like the double click space mountain door things. Then you couldn't get charged unless you agreed to to pay.

I am not sure what ramifications of charging for various rooms might have. I am sure they have thought it though at VMK and are aware of the pitfalls. My guess is (and I understand what your saying about trying to keep people out) have a charging gate in any of the following situations might be bad. If the room says Free and they are charging or if a quest machine exists in the room especially if operational i think you would be opening up possibliity of being banned. Also i think charging to get in the room and then booting could be an ethical issue, as well as pay to play pay too stay. Seems paying once should be enough to stay for the game, It is even possible, we might not get the part. Could be staff only, Will they now charge for events? all curious things. We may all only be able to get one. My guess is it is not tradeable and costs a little bit if sold. I have a feeling there are people that feel they are popular enough to charge people to come see them and all their stuff. Look for rooms like such and such is here or come see this new item. Oh what fun a charging device might be.

I was only thinking of using it to charge if you could know what the fee is before you lost the credits, and then only when my quests were closed. A do you want to pay this many credits and if the person says no they will either get kicked out of the room or back to the enterance would be fine. Anyone seen bothering me from the door cold then be booted fairly, and those who make it into the room would still be booted if they bugged me to turn on the quests. But I believe there are those who would use the gates unfairly, and to try to steal credits from other players. I hope that there is an option to see what it will charge either before you get to it, or some option to get sent back to the doorway or something for those who don't want to pay.

How about this.. What if someone puts The charge thing RIGHT in the begging of the room where you walk in. Then you would have to pay without knowing...

I just thought of something, i bet this is something that hosts will use in their hang out rooms, so other players will have more chances to getin.

Look at the top and you will see it spells "TOCPE" or Epcot spelt backwards. This will really help those trying to build virtual parks! But also allows players to charge for room access. I'm guessing these will be about half the price of the Quest Kiosk. (Note the ones in the ride rooms do not charge credits)

I bet these will make better queues too.. if you just line up a bunch and set all of them to FREE, it seems they would make a cool looking shaded Epcot queue just like in the parks.

Pretty Awesome... I think they look fantastic and would really look cool in my room. I not interested in charging people to come to my room... But they sure look sweet! Along with the new teleporter!
