I know how you feel, we're there May 8 to 15. I wouldn't be as upset if they didn't say it was starting April 22 and we were planning for it.

Well on the bright side, whoever goes may 27th, go to Animal Kingdom during the day, and then any other park at night... It will be free of people ;]

See we will be there that day. It's our TL day, and I already have FP for MK that night. We leave Sunday and I'm not going to begin trying to rearrange all our park days to make our AK day Saturday(no hoppers), so I'm trying to decide if I would be stupid to go there Friday night. I guess I will just see if I can get FP. I know I'm not going without FP!

Yes, exactly! I would avoid opening night at all costs and try and hit up other parks! LOL

I hope so! We have HS planned for 5/27 because it has EMH till midnight. Glad that we will for sure be able to see this stuff and happy to hear the rumors on Soarin! Now all we need is some good news of FEA. Now the wait for FP begins...

We will be there then too. Are there rumors Soarin will be open then? I thought I saw June 17th? I really hope its open as its my favorite!

I probably misread this post, but it is the one I was talking about...

Does anybody think they could load the nighttime FP for tonight at midnight since they changed the hours on MDE today and it's rumored that Soarin FP will be available starting tonight????

Now that I reread it, it looks like it might mean that they are opening FP for mid-June. I haven't read the actual rumor that it came from. Oh well...at least we have the AK stuff.

Yeah, only time I can work it in is opening night. I may be stupid, lol! We will be going only for the evening on our TL day. We have an actual AK day planned earlier in the week. I am going to try to at least get Everest and Safari FP. If we see the show great, if not great. Hopefully we can at least see the tree and experience the atmosphere. If it's too crazy, we will just give up and head back to the room. No losses. All we gave up were night time rides on Thunder mountain and 7 dwarves and well Everest beats those any time in my book!

I tried updating my Memorial Day AK FPs and there were no later times available for Everest, Safari, or Kali (I have these booked from 4pm-7pm currently). I am seeing Dinosaur, Its Tough to Be a Bug, and Primeval Whirl available for 8PM-9PM time ranges.

I'm wondering if they have run out of availability already or if they just haven't opened them up yet??

If opening day was the only day I had to go I would do it and brave the crowds. So sorry for all of you guys who are just missing the new stuff. My trip was originally planned at the end of May and I was able to shift it a few weeks into June instead. We were very lucky on that front.

So, yeah, that's our last day in the world and we already have ADR's other places so I guess we will just have to miss it. I would give it a go, but seeing as that's opening day and Memorial Day weekend I would imagine it will be crazy!!!

I think they haven't updated. I'm not seeing Primeval Whirl for my date but I did change my EE to 7:30-8:30 (the latest/newest available).

Same for us. It's the only AK day of our trip, our very last park day, and we do not have hoppers. To mess with it now would mean either (1) re-arranging FP+ and ADRs for MK, or (2) skipping AK altogether, which I'm just not willing to do . Glad we'll get to potentially see something new (still not seeing anything new available for FP), but a bit worried about the crowds for sure!

The latest I have been able to get KS is 6:15pm. I am hoping they have not released the night time safari passes yet, but if they have and they are gone, I guess we will brave the standby lines. I will continue to watch for them though.
