New Home Affordable Act

I have a friend who is under that home affordable act. She made her first payment. She now says that she can pay when she wants. Doesn't she have to make the second payment a month from the first one? She said that she doesn't have to and that they said that she could pay when she wants to. She said that this isnt' considered the trial term until she gets the paperwork. Is this true? I would hate for her to miss out on it. She has been struggling lately. Thanks.

IDK, but I'm on that trial plan with CitiMortgage and I have to make my payments on time. I have not heard that you can make the payments whenever you want, that's news to me. Maybe it depends on the lender she has?? I hope it works out well for her.
