Good evening all. I'm new to the disboards. I'm the mom of a 3.5 year old girl, planning a "family reunion" trip for my parents, my DH and DD, my Brother and SIL and nephew as well. My mom suffers from moderate Alzheimer's disease, so really this is the "do it now or not at all" trip because if we wait any longer, she will not be in a place where such a trip is possible.
Staying at BLT the week of Thanksgiving. It's my DH and DD's first trip, we're celebrating my DD's 4th birthday and our 5th anniversary as well. Lots to celebrate!
We have ADRs already.
*Chef Mickey's for dinner
*Liberty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving lunch
*Tony's Town Square for dinner
*1900 Park Fare for dinner
*Akershus for breakfast (just my DH, DD and I)
*Le Cellier for lunch
*La Hacienda for dinner
*CRT for breakfast (just my DH, DD and I)
Not sure if we'll keep the Tony's Town Square, but I was pleased with the Le Cellier for lunch so we weren't spending 2 table service on it. The two princess breakfasts are being paid cash since we are doing it alone and just for our DD with us, something really special for her birthday and something that she REALLY wants to do.
We have an 8am reservation on Thanksgiving Day for BBB as well and she thinks I personally spoke with Cinderella who invited her to come and get her hair and nails done at her castle.
She DESPERATELY wants to meet Rapunzel and Flynn...actually it's really the only thing besides breakfast with the princesses that she is dying to do.
Looking forward to help/ideas as I move toward the "prize" of our trip later this fall. Thanks!
