Welcome!

Have you looked into the train? I don't know much about it, and the cost, but I know we have many that take the train down the East Coast for their Disney trip.

Hi and welcome!

Are you staying on site? If so, consider the meal plan. It's $40 per day for anyone 10 and over, and $10 per day for anyone ages 3-9. It includes a full service meal, a table service meal, and a snack each day. For my family, it's a great deal!

We are staying at Pop Century. I was just looking at the meal plan and I will prob do it. It seems like a awesome deal. ;)

It was for us. We're using it again this year.

OK, so if you need some planning to do: think about investing in the Unofficial Guide to WDW, or borrowing it from the library. It goes into excruciating detail on all things Disney.

You can get an idea of which table service restaurants you'll want. You can assign your older kids to get a rundown on each park for potential must-sees.

The companion website (www.touringplans.com) can give you an idea of which park to do on what day (though not this far in advance) so you can work the dinner reservations around that.

Also, what time of year are you thinking of?
