ok i just signed up here and have no idea what im doing. There is 8 of us in my family. Myself, my husband, my kids, ages 14, 9, 6, and his kids ages 11, 8, and 7. Thats there ages at the time of our trip. I can only go the last week of december. two days after xmas b/c of my vacation time. HELP ME!!!!!! I need lots of info and tricks of the trade. Im from alabama so we will be driving. THANK YOU

Anyway, I presume you're looking for a home. It is a very high time of year and things tend to get booked very quickly, so don't waste any time trying to find something. You probably need at least a 4 -6 bedroom house.

If you're not looking for a vacation home, disregard all of the above and wait for someone else to give you some info on hotels.
We've been staying in vacation homes for the last 15 yrs or so and love it. Actually we just got back yesterday from a stay in Indian Creek.
