Hi,

I am not sure if this should go here but just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Kelly and i am from Cardiff, Wales. I am hoping to get married in Disney on the 29th September 2008. Just wondered if anyone else from UK is also getting married over in Orlando in 2008 and was wondering how their planning was going?

Hi Kelly and welcome to the DIS. There is one DISer from the UK i can think of who is getting married in Orlando but in Jan next year, I think. Have you been over to the Disney Weddings board - there will be loads of people over there who can give you advice. Meanwhile, feel free to stick around here and chat and tell us all about your plans so far.

Whereabouts is your Disney wedding taking place? There are so many beautiful locations on the Fairytale Weddings website. I'd love my DD to have her wedding in WDW in the future but I'm currently planning my Vow Renewal onboard the Disney Magic so I get a little of the in the meantime...

I have been to Orlando and Disney around 16 times. Love travelling around the US and have been doing so with family since i was about 8!!!

Can't wait for 2008 wish i was getting married this year!!!

Disney was so the obvious choice for my wedding it is going to be great.

I want the wedding pavillion but have not decided the pre-reception, reception or evening party venues yet but love the Grand Floridian so most probably will end up there.

Got engaged on the Disney Magic and it was fab - you are gonna have a great time.
