I have been reading this board and I have found it soooooooooo helpful!!! I have a couple questions. I am are going to WDW in 28 days. whoo hoo!! And we have 2 small children, one is 11 months the other is almost 3. I purchase a double stroller at a garage sale for cheap, has anyone traveled with them?? It is a graco something...
The other question is about diapers, my mother made the comment that I should just buy them when we get there. We are staying on Disney property, at all star music to be exact, and I did not know if I should just pack my own or buy them there. PLease help! :) Thanks!

We took our son at 11 mos old. Didnt takea double stroller, but it sounds like you've gotten just the kind I would reccommend. Get some neon tape and wrap it arund the handle so yuo can spot it in the stroller parking lots. Also bring a baby bjorn or some type of carrier. There are tons of places that the stroller cant go and the carrier is great. We used the baby bjorn and he rode all the rides he could in it. Dont use a backpack because you would have to take it off for rides.

I did buy diapers and neccessities, once there, off property. If you are renting a car or using a towncar service with a grocery stop thats the way to go. But if you are using Magical Express, then packing those things is fine, and probably worth the carry not to pay resort prices on that kind of stuff.

You didnt ask, but I totally reccommend that you get some table toppers. I think Babies'r'us and the right start still have them. They are presterilized mats that stick to the table and are awesome for the baby and finger foods.

I took my Evenflo double stroller for dd4 and ds2 in January and we could not have managed the hotel (POR) without it! I packed my diapers and other things that would be used- fruit snacks, breakfast bars, other snacks- in a small rolling bag and we filled it with souvenirs on the way home. Just a thought- I purchase diapers in bulk from Sam's Club, so it saved us money to do it that way.

When we went w/ our kids at 2 & 4 I found disposable bibs to be very helpful. Keeps clothes clean, but you don't have to lug around a dirty bib back to be washed. Oh, another great thing is hand sanitizer. Then after changing a diaper you don't have to try to figure out what to do with your child while you wash your hands. It's great for them before they eat too.

We're going in 30 days. See you there

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I had not thought about the table topper Idea it sure beats having to lug around lysol wipes! We are using the Magical Express so I think that I will pack diapers from home, I can only imagine how expensive they are on property!
