New here - saying hello!

Dh and I are expecting our first child in mid-October. However, we'll have to cancel our WDW trip for this September as it would be the last week of the month (our first during Food & Wine Festival) and I'm sure I'll just be too uncomfortable plus there's the whole flying issue at 8.5 months pregnant.

Sooooo, I made DH promise me that we would hit Disney next year in late Sept/early Oct. I think we'll be sitting pretty good with an 11 mo. child. Of course this is a whole new world for us so I'll be lurking around reading as much as I can about doing the World with a little one, but I wanted to stop in and say hello!

Hello! We took DS at 8.5 mos - he blossomed...he is now 3 and has gone 8 times! I do swear the planning and anticipation is really almost as fun as the trip itself! Enjoy!!!

Great News! About the baby, not cancelling!

I had to cancel my trip due to being pregnant in 2006. I feel your pain. We did go back in 2007 but we left DS with his grandparents. DH and I had a really good vacation and it was nice to relax together.

Don't worry about DS though. He's coming with us this year!

CONGRATS!! We too are expecting and had to cancel our Sept trip for this year!! It would have been my DS first trip (he would have been 18mo) but his little bro/sis had other plans... So we cancelled and are extremely excited to be going next year w/ two children instead of one!
We are looking around the same time as well and the new baby will be around a year... Do you know where you want to stay?!?

I'm so totally in love with AKL that I don't know about staying anywhere else. On our honeymoon in 97 we stayed at POFQ and DH would like to go back there, but I've kinda been thinking about the Poly. I'm afraid I would miss AKL too much though.
