Welcome to the Dis :disrocks: Make sure you check out the disablities board the tips board, ask away, we are here to help you!

Welcome! You'll have no problems finding all of the tips and info you need...the people here are GREAT and have the best advice! :disrocks:

Welcome..One suggestion when making your ADR's you shoulg try to get 2 tables of 6 or 3 tables of 4...if you make Adr's for all 12 at one table try to make them as early as possible. Last year we had to wait over an hour for a table for 12 at Chef Mickey(from our adr time)...there was ony a few tables that they could seat us at, but there are tons of choices, and avaibility opens up more quickly for the smaller numbers. Exceptions to this of course would be Hoop Dee Doo, and Spirit of ALoha, Beirgarten and probably most resort restaurants(but not CM).

welcome, hope you have a great time when you go. We also had problems waiting for tables for a large group but from what I understand if you make your ADR's through the grand gatherings you should be ok.

Making the reservations isn't the problem, it is the table turnover. If you come in after a table of 12 that was late for their adr, and then they take their time, and do 3-4 courses, than you are going to be waiting, because there are only so many larger tables. The chance that you staying on schedule...or more importantly with that many kids-not having to wait an hour+. It was torture waiting for over an hour with 7 kids....just a suggestion..if you are really flexible, and waiting an hour to eat when kids are tired and hungry is something you don't mind doing......

If you are not on the dinning plan you might look into buying one AP and getting the DDE card for the 20% discounts.

WElcome to DIS...don't be overwhelmed, enjoy and take it one step at a time!
