New here-possibly going to Disney with 8month old

Hi Everyone,
I am so glad I found this forum! My DH and I will taking a 10th anniversary trip in February. We will be bringing our 8 month old dd with us and were considering Disney for our trip (she's an only child). I would like to get some of your opinions if this is a good idea or not. Is there any rides/attractions we can even go on with her? Is Disney with such a young baby a bad idea?

Hi Melct - welcome to the DIS ! We took DGrD when she was only 5 mos old and had a wonderful trip ! I would recommend taking your own fully reclining stroller (we took an umbrella type) - We also used the baby bjorn carrier a lot - we went on lots of rides with her and she loved them, though after a while the noise level got to her - she was fussier in the afternoons than she normally was, so we just 'geared down' for a few hours. I also loved the ray shade cover for the stroller = when she would doze off we would pull it way down and create her own little 'space' (and it kept the sun off of her). Also recommend taking a rain cover for the stroller - there are often sudden storms in FL and you could come out of a ride to find a soaking wet stroller. You will get lots of advice here - go and ENJOY !! :smooth:
And don't forget to research baby swap - you can take turns doing the 'big' rides your DD can't go on if you want.
