New here, have a question

Hi, my name is deva (dayva) and my grandparents are taking me and my younger brother to disney world in June. 21st-27th. Anyway, I am in charge of planning everything. I was just wondering if anyone had this problem. I went online to book our hotel room and every hotel I tried said that they didn't have any rooms avaliable for my group size. The only place I could find was Saratoga Springs, but we really wanted to stay at the polynesian resort or animal kingdom lodge. Can anyone help me with this? Is this just an online thing-should I call them and see? Also-does anyone know any good deals for packages? This will be my sixth time going, but this is my first year where I have to plan everything.

I would call Disney. I personnally like to speak with someone and last year did try to book online and had the same type of thing happen. I don't know how availability comes up but I would call. I'm not sure of any special when you are going. Keep checking here as well as Mousesavers.com. Good luck in your planning.

I would definetly try calling. Even after you call and they still don't have rooms available at those two resorts, then book what you can and keep calling back because there is a good chance that something will open up. Good choice of resorts by the way. The only discounts I know of are the AAA room discounts but they might not be any available now. Good luck in your planning and have a great trip!!

I had the same problem when I was trying to get price quotes for a group of 6. I'm not sure why, but it seems like they ALWAYS think you're trying to fit everyone in one room and that's why you get very limited options. You'll probably just have to call them up. If you just need a quote for budgeting/planning purposes, you can price it out with half your party and then double it.

Welcome Dayva ! I would call like someone else said. You are reaching the 45 day mark where everything has to be paid for. They might have an opening at AKL or Poly but these two resorts are popular especially in the summer months. Never know you might get some pixie dust over you & get lucky but call & see.Nothing that I have seen for any specials. Might want to book SSR so you will have a place & call every other day or check online. Good luck That is really nice of your grandparents to treat you & your brother. There's a dance competition going on in Orlando during part of those dates. I would definitely call to see what availability there is. I'm sure that a lot of the dancers and their families will be at WDW.

Thanks everyone, we finally got a room at Saratoga Springs. Now I just have to wait through another torchores month of school and it wll finally be here.
