New here--any one else following Dr. Phil?

Hi! :wave: I signed up on the WISH Challlenge several weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to say Hi to everyone.

I started following Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss Food Plan 3 weeks ago. I have had good and bad days, but weighed this morning and am down 6 lbs. :Pinkbounc Only 60 more to go!!!

In the last 15 years I have been on WW, Nutri System, WW, Jenny Craig, WW, Atkins, and ummmm, oh yeah, WW. Obviously I haven't had any luck on them. :yo-yo:

So far I am feeling very comfortable with the "Phil plan".

Is anyone else following him? I have read several pages of posts but didn't see any mention of others on this plan. I was hoping to find others here for support with this plan.

South Beach certainly appears to be very popular, but I have been doing some research into it tonight (on these boards and others) and it just doesn't sound like something I would be able to stick with for very long.

We are planning on our 2nd trip to visit ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo in December and I am hoping to lose at least 25 - 30 lbs by then. I hope that by coming here regularly I will stay motivated. Our last (and 1st :rotfl: ) trip was last year and I vowed to lose at least 25 lbs before that trip. Instead I ended up gaining 10 to reach my all time high :rolleyes: . I have to lose it this time!!!!!!

Could some one also please let me know about what challenges, and check in's there are currently? I don't have a ton of time to check in daily but maybe weekly or something?

I'm not following Dr. Phil's plan, but I just wanted to welcome you!

Around here, we check in weekly. The weekly check in thread starts on Sunday, and people post to it as late as Saturday. So just once a week.

I can't offer Phil-specific support, but I can be there if you're having problems, as will everybody else on this board.

Downward we go! :)
 
Welcome to WISH!

We're finishing up the Independence Day Challenge in another week. I bet a Labor Day Challenge will soon follow??
Also ZerasPride is starting a "Don't Look At The Scale For A Month" Challenge for us scale-fanatics. I am going to try it because it will force me to stay on program and not slack off when the scale shows me a good number...

I love this board. Support and encouragement is as close as your computer. Also check out some of the WISH Journals that people are writing. Very inspiring stuff...

Love to Scrap--I've been doing the Dr. Phil plan on and off since last fall. Congrats on the 6 lb. weight loss! It sounds like you're right on track. I've lost 35 lbs. since last fall. I really did well when I started the Booty Camp in Jan with the 2-week Rapid Start in the Food Guide. I lost 20 lbs. during the 10 wk Booty Camp. I'm 5 lbs. from my goal weight now, and have been slacking off lately. I just bought the Dr. Phil cookbook, so hopefully some new recipes will get me in gear.

I would like to get to my goal weight in two weeks when we go to WDW.
