Hi:) I am so excited and have 100's of questions.....we are visiting 10/29-11/3/12. We are staying at the Art of Animation (the new pics look AWESOME). This will be a surprise trip for our son's 9th birthday on 10/31...he is going to flip out.:rotfl2:

-Is the Mickey's Not so Scary a good idea to do on his actual birthday Halloween?
-When do tickets go on sale for that?
-What is a good place to go for his birthday dinner?

Thank you for your help and idea's!

Hi and welcome!

Sorry, I can't answer most of your questions; we're both teachers so my family travels in August.

As to his birthday dinner, the kids' menu is pretty standard from one place to the next, so it can all be about atmosphere. Consider:
- the Coral Reef in Epcot. One entire wall of the restaurant is the humongous fish tank from The Living Seas. Absolutely gorgeous, and we love the seafood!
- Chef Mickey's has a nice buffet and a host of characters for pictures and autographs-- Mickey, Minnie, Donald and the crew.
- We're trying the Hoop De Do Revue for the first time this year. I bet it would be a real treat!

Welcome!!! I loved MNSSHP, it will be crowded on Halloween of course but I think it will still be enjoyable. As for dinner, mabey try a character meal. Chef Mickey's would be my choice, make sure he has on his birthday button.
