New here! All about Memories weddings?

Hello! My husband and I eloped a few years ago and while our wedding was perfect in almost every way, we never had a photographer so we have only a couple snapshots the minister generously took using my camera phone. We kind of regret not having wedding photos. We have two small children and recently started discussing the idea of having a vow renewal at Walt Disney World. What a fun and memorable place to take the entire family!

I have read through the trip reports and wedding journals and those are so great. I was just wondering if you feel like a Memories wedding is worth the money and what you liked about the wedding if you had one. What did you think about the locations offered and photography included in the Memories collection package? We are considering Luau Beach so any info. about that location would be really wonderful. Your opinions would really help our planning! Thank you in advance!

We did a memories vow renewal and it was worth every cent. We had it at Luau Beach. The location is fantastic and have some great photos. I did a planning journal (that I need to finish at some point) if you want some ideas. The package is great for a vow renewal. I enjoyed getting to spend some time with my husband and it reminded us the reason why we got married 10 years ago and that we still truly love each other. Good luck!

Yes, you are paying a LOT of money for very few things, but everybody I've talked to who's done a Memories event has felt it was still worth it. Hi Lurkyloo! I read about both your wedding and vow renewal and they both were so beautiful. We were thinking about Aulani as a possibility because the airfare is the same price regardless of location being Florida or Hawaii but we also have 2 children (ages 7 months and 7 years) and are still trying to figure out what experience they would enjoy more.
