New Google Maps

Didn't know if anyone's mentioned this but Google has updated their satellite pics. The Fort looks much clearer.

The picture of my house is only about 2-3 months ago so I imagine the Fort shot is around the same time. Maybe June or July of this year.

Mine is so old that it doesn't show our house, or several on either side. We built ours 5 years ago, and were one of the last ones to fill in the block, so the sat picture is at least 6-7 years old. It does show our previous house, I can even see the playset I built in the backyard.

I just checked and it looks like they are, they are clearer and seem to be better, I am glad, as it gives a good idea of which site and loop to request, if you want shade, water front, or whatever.....

I never realized how much land the fort has. The Lodge and MK are small compared to the fort. Oh the pic of my house is old its funny though it was taken when I was at the fort a few years ago.

Same here & we've never had "street view" either. one of the cars in our driveway is long gone after 2 of our boys had different accidents in it. The first was bad enough, the second did her in.

So why are some pix new and others are not? (Ours is updated.) I guess they do different sections at different times?

Now that I've admired our roof, I'm off to check out the Fort...
