We were thinking of getting our son the Nintendo Gameboy DS for his 6th birthday and this game looks just so cute! :dog: It is $29.99 with a $5.00 Best Buy gift card this week, so we picked it up. Just wondering if anyone has heard about it or get it for their kids and how it was. :dog2:

In the chicago area it is advertised as coming out on Wednesday -- my son wants to get the game tow. We'll let you know tomorrow how we like it

it's really cute. it came out today and most places here are sold out already. :paw:

We asked yesterday and were also told it's coming out tomorrow. My DD really wants it. I planned on taking her to Best Buy tomorrow to buy it. Their school starts Thursday so I thought this could be her "back to school gift" from me.

OMG!!!

So you have been eavesdropping on MY house, huh? DD is constantly playing with it "on-line" and wants it for her b-day too.
She wanted to go to WalMart TONIGHT...uh, not happening. Her birthday is next month.
So which "puppy pack" do they want? There are 3 you know. And dd is pointing out that the covers are different on some of the ads online.

It's too cute!

I pre-ordered it from Gamestop and they didn't order enough copies to cover their pre-orders. I'm so upset :(

what the heck is it?
like a neo-pet type thing?

far from it, my freind! think of it as a virtual dog. you wash it, feed it, let it play with other pups... trust me, its alot deeper than it sounds.

Uh YEAH, we have it, got it for my daughter yesterday, and she has been ADDICTED to it ever since. Seriously, I told her to put the game DOWN, she is neglecting her REAL pets because of it. And yes, it is VERY in-depth, she was trying to explain to me how she earned enough money to get another pet...took me a while before I found out she meant another Nintendog! :teeth:

If you want it for a 6-year-old be sure to read the whole book, my 12-year-old was getting frustrated with having to re-train the dog to learn his name...after a couple of hours she figured it out, but I think there are "tricks" to this thing.
