New favorite song

My new favorite song is Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood. I am obsessed with this song, and I am really upset that I can't buy just that song, that I have to buy the whole Enchanted CD.

I heard about Utada from a friend...and from the Kingdom Hearts games. Have you heard her song Passion? It's great! The English version is called Sanctuary. Japanese music is awesome

I have both; bought Passion and downloaded Sanctuary off the internet cause you can't buy it Same pattern with Hikaru and Simple and Clean. I also have The Flavor of Life, Beautiful World, and Kiss & Cry

Utada Hikaru is amazing.
I love Simple and Clean.
And every other song.
Passion is great.

I love ever ever after too.
But I want the whole Enchanted album anyways so I can just buy the whole thing and be happy. :]

Tracy Chapman's 'The Promise' has been my favoite song for several months now, and I still can't get enough of it. This song is just so touching, and being so lyrically and musically straightforward you would hardly expect it, but the way she sings it... the emotion in her voice, the feeling... it makes me melt every time I listen to it.

Cold by Crossfade is my current obsession.

I like some modern stuff, but most stuff I listen to is from 1950-1999. The 70s and 80s are my favorite decades in music though, if I had to choose (the 50s stuff sounds a little mellow, the 60s was full of weird psychadelic crap like Iron Butterfly (though The Beatles, The Who, and Zeppeling more than make up for it), and the 90s was when popular music slowly started to go into a recession.) These days are a barren wasteland compared to those much better times in music.
